Effective Config Explained

The Effective Config is the active runtime configuration calculated by opampsupervisor.

It combines central remote management with node-level overrides:

  • Remote Settings: Pushed from OpAMP Server (pipelines, sampling rules).
  • Local Overrides: Host-specific parameters (node IDs, local secrets).

This ensures fleet consistency while preserving essential node customization.
